As a member of the charity committee here at Random House/Transworld, I often lovingly produce the posters to promote our charity events! The next one is a High Tea Luncheon... mmmm... cake....!! Here's a little feast for the eyes I just knocked up...

Recent birthday cards!

Here are a few additions to my birthday card selection - the first is for my adopted niece who turned 3 a few weeks ago - we ate cake, played on the trampoline and ran around pretending to be princesses... twas fun!

We celebrated my boyfriends birthday with a surprise trip to Copenhagen, just got back from a lovely weekend... with a strong desire to pack our bags & move over there! Here's a lttle card I made him for his birthday. Ta daaaa

Toe Fluff

Ive submitted my Toe fluff!
Steve Rack is an artist. One day he designed a character called Toe Fluff, which he thought would be great for a children's book. In fact, he liked Toe Fluff so much that he decided to base an exhibition on him too. To make it more fun he asked his friends to customize Toe Fluff as part of the show. Well, since Steve's 'call for submissions', things kind of snowballed! The project is now open to all artists.
... I got involved!

Beardybirthday

One of my fellow doodling friends had his 30th Birthday this weekend - the theme being facial hair... ladies in moustaches, bearded boys and the odd werewolf made it an interesting affair!
I created a themed, wearable cut out & keep card for the Birthday boy. Splendid!

I went on to create another for my boyfriend to wear... he likes wizards ^-^

WHEN CAKES ATTACK!!!!

It was my little sisters partner Chris' Birthday on Sunday... he's a fan of cakes & old horrors so I tried to create something quick and fitting... I came up with 'When cakes attack!'

I'm hoping to transform this into a B-movie style poster when i get chance!

I knocked this up at lunch time in a cracking 40mins, I asked my superdoodling sidekick what hed like me to draw & the lunch time rumbles replied with Egg Yolk Folk...
I thought hmmm, chickens...or omelette's with leg's...

The City Fox strikes again!

He's not the kind of gentleman to rifle through your bins,
disturb you from a pleasant nights sleep or even run away when you scream.
Oh no, he proudly stand on his back two legs, shakes your hand...
and says "How do you do"
He's a pleasant fox Mr City Fox, a gentleman of charm and wit.

Yesterday...

My poor friend took a tumble on sunday - down a full set of stairs - top to bottom & there wasn't even any wine involved! Somehow she ended up on her back at the bottom so must have somehow bounced off both walls and flipped over. She's broken and dislocated her little finger, badly bruised and sprained her right arm and is all strapped and slinged up for 2-3 weeks...
So being the best friend I am... I created a card to show my sympathy... ^-^

and so it began...

Maybe with why I'm here - this is a blog to basically keep you up to date with any new illustrative projects and anything else creative I feel like sharing!
